Fee List
Chapter 7 flat fee - $1,500.00*
The flat fee includes:
Preparation and filing of the bankruptcy petition,
Attorney’s advice,
Attending the “341” meeting of creditors.
Representing you through final discharge.
This does not include adversary proceedings (which are uncommon.)
The flat fee does not include the Court’s filing fee. The Court’s filing fee is $338.00. You might qualify for a fee waiver. The attorney will review your finances to determine whether you qualify.
The flat fee is non-refundable and becomes due in entirety before the petition is filed with the bankruptcy court.
The firm will seek awarding of attorney fees from an opposing party in an adversary proceeding, where applicable. My Florida Chapter 7 will retain any attorney fees awarded.
*Certain conduct by the client, including, but not limited to: missing meetings with the United States Trustee, failing to turn over all information, or motions to dismiss filed by the United States Trustee, will result in additional fees. Full details can be found in the retainer agreement.
